Experience Last Mountain Lakes world class fishing in an Ice Castle.  Ice Castle fish houses revolutionized the Ice Fishing industry by creating ice shacks that have all of the modern features and comforts of camping but will endure the harsh climate of ice fishing.  There are a few brands that have attempted to duplicate the iconic Ice Castle but at Hooked up Angling we believe that there are not any substitutes for it.   Our Ice Castle sleeps 4-5 people and features a rear dinette that converts to a double bed,  above the rear dinette is a single bunk bed.  Near the front there is a jackknife sofa with a single bunk above.  Our Ice Castle comes equipped with with a diesel and a propane furnace that will keep you warm at any temperature and has the added feature of a spray foamed floor to keep your feet warm and dry while fishing.  It has bright modern lighting,  signature rear Ice Castle bay window, comfortable seating,  smart TV,  propane stove,  outdoor BBQ,  waterless toilet, plenty of storage,  blue tooth stereo,  rubber flooring and is finished throughout with tongue and groove pine.  Grab your sleeping bags and come experience the thrill of ice camping.

Locations

New For 2026-27 Season

We are excited to be providing 2 Ice Castle Rentals on 2 different locations of Last Mountain Lake.  Both of the Ice Castles are setup and will operate similar to the one we operated in the 2025-26 season but will give our clients 2 different choices of access points and fishing areas to choose from.

Location 1 (South Location) *Pelican Pointe

This Ice Castle will be setup in the Pelican Pointe area.  It will be setup to target Walleye, Perch, Burbot and you will have an opportunity to catch Northern pike there as well.  You will access the Ice Castle from the Regina Beach access which typically has a good trail to follow to Pelican Pointe.  Regina Beach has all of the essential services that a person will need such as groceries, bait and fuel so don't worry if you are at this location it is just a quick drive to replenish your supplies.

Location 2 (North Location) Rowan's Ravine

This Ice Castle will be setup in the Rowan's Ravine area.  It will be setup to target Walleye, Perch, Burbot and you will have an opportunity to catch Northern pike there as well.  You will access the Ice Castle from the Rowan's Ravine access.  This location typically does not get as much fishing pressure which generally increases your opportunity of catching.  There is lots of opportunity at this location to get out and explore different areas of the lake.
